the drawingproject OOG OM OOG will be made into a booklet with a compilation of the coming of and the vanishing of the drawings on the walls. there will also be some panorama shots ( made by bertus gerssen) and detailshots ( made by an3). as an extra there will be added a cd with a sound escape that will be created during the erasing event 29 okt ,open for public from 7 till 11pm(done by shabby inc)and maybe also more pics that are interesting but too many to made into print.
today me matthijs and an3 had our first meeting and matthijs will do the design and lay-out and he will ask the designer and printerstudio DE BOKOFHETLOKET in zwolle to help out with the design and do the printing.
we hope to present the finished booklet during the second OOG OM OOG event organised by mercedes langhorst in schiedam in december 2009 keep u posted on the follow ups
as the drawing event @ andergrond was so much fun, one of the artists (Mercedes Langhorst) decided to organise another drawing/painting event with the same group of artists in an art.galery in Schiedam in december.
the whole month or part of the month we will be working together on transforming this white space into something different, of which we will only know the result when the time for the opening comes…. YEAH !!!

yesterday a start was made with the latest Andergrond project…… a containerproject with 10 other artists located behind trainstation Den Haag HS.
from 9 till 4 the 12 containers were shifted from one location to the next and at the end of the day it was done.
it was fascinating to see an empty space slowly turn into a kinda village
the container village has to become a free.zone were all kinds of events will be happening. participants for now…. Andergrond, Motorwolf/Guy Tavares, Mr-Machine a.o.
Fol Chen is a band and it seems Liars guitar player Samuel Bing is in it.. so… SO …..
well nothing, but nice, dancable and light music with a little dark shade.. They have just released a free remix album on the overall sweet label Asthmatic Kitty Records
One of the acts performing on todays ..uhm..art? we are curious about is Lucky Dragons. .. They’re like a art collective-duo, already existing since 1999. They also seem to be crammed in the latest new wave of new york /LA bands, that combine futuristic present with more esoteric/tribal elements (Telepathe, Health, HighPlaces, Pit er Part, icy demons a.o) .. do i make sense.. NO..
anyway.. the point i wanted to make is the label they release music on Marriage Records a Portland based label doing all kinds of nice sounds, artwork, printing and t-shirts. Also free album downloads.. Especially the split with YAcht (also a Portland based duo doing music, and other media..)
YACHT + LUCKY DRAGONS: NIRVANA is fun. Entirely made out of Nirvana sounds (Nevermind + In Utero)..
sic-rec’s succesful participation in de haagse popweek 2007.. NOT…………..hardly any crowd for such a cool mix between 8bit-core and screamo. Gtuk did not seem to bother and went completely bazerk.. so we had fun!!! what can u say.. ‘Den haag zuigt‘
