November 16, 2009 - Foot Village: Anti-Magic Pro-Creation tour merchandise available at Andergrond!
Foot Village lit up the Melkweg in Amsterdam last week and I had the pleasure to participate in the holy Anti-Magic/Pro-Creation JAM that occurred. Was the crowd receptive to my friends? I think so. Deep down everyone wished to strip off their human clothes and form a rhythmic body pile doused in Heineken. But we’re just not there yet as a species.
The sub-music community Foot Village is a part of in the states is well supported by the people therein. Foot Village is loud and aggressive in a beautiful way. A very special band in this current time of art simulation.
Foot Village is Brian Miller, Josh Taylor-Fantastic, Grace Lee, and Dan. Brian Miller, also of Deathbomb Arc, was happy to share merchandise with Andergrond. A Limited 7″ Foot Village / 60-watt kid split and 2009 Foot Village Anti-Magic cd are now available at the shop.

On of the coolest band of yesterdays FINE FLEUR day one has been DUDU GEVA a french 2 boys one girl trio, making a sweet, manical mash up of banjo, drums, keyboards, vocals and bass.. and some funny dance moves dressed up like ‘des animaux’

One of the acts performing on todays ..uhm..art? we are curious about is Lucky Dragons. .. They’re like a art collective-duo, already existing since 1999. They also seem to be crammed in the latest new wave of new york /LA bands, that combine futuristic present with more esoteric/tribal elements (Telepathe, Health, HighPlaces, Pit er Part, icy demons a.o) .. do i make sense.. NO..
anyway.. the point i wanted to make is the label they release music on Marriage Records a Portland based label doing all kinds of nice sounds, artwork, printing and t-shirts. Also free album downloads.. Especially the split with YAcht (also a Portland based duo doing music, and other media..)
YACHT + LUCKY DRAGONS: NIRVANA is fun. Entirely made out of Nirvana sounds (Nevermind + In Utero)..

Pistol Disco is a Swedisch duo exploring the black hole of rock music. Space sounds and primal drums. A monolith of vibrations. .
Pistol Disco just released their 4th album on Celebrity Lifestyle
Recordings in stockholm as well as a cassette tape on New York based Ormolycka.
PWR is the missing link between Forecefield and Young Jeezy. The
cavernous bassdrum of the former combined with the sublime etherical
tones of the later. Or vice versa. Anyway, PWR is a cosmic force of
nature beyond such pityful human concepts as time, space, words and
recording technique.
PWR is a solo project by Rasmus Svensson, who also play in bands such
as Smycken (Night People, Utmarken, Psychic Malmö), Taras bulba
(Scumbag Relations) Full på folköl (ormolycka) and, formerly, in Chaos
Through Programming.
This year PWR will release a LP on the New York based label Ormolycka.
There will also be zines and sjit from affliated zine/group Push the Button
to been seen live @ Andergrond Monday the 31st of august. Starts @ 20:00
