a bio`? hello my name is charlotte simon and i´m born on the 1st of march 1986 (mainz) . i´m only 22, but i feel like 15. i study arts since 2005 in academy mainz (prof. anne berning). and in october 2009 in frankfurt,städelschool (prof. judith hopf) 2007 stipendium studienstiftung des deutschen volkes. video performance in initialraum,münster videoperformance landesmuseum mainz 2008 group exhibition in kunsthalle mainz. i´show some of the videos which appeared in a serie,as an installation this year. they handle in an ironic way the subject of failure and pathos presented by dance-,music- and other foundfootagevideos or dilletante selfmade settings. . i cut myself in different costumes onto the material and try make it even more ridiculus. but in a way i´m also a fan of eric adam´s (manowar) desperateness or the dancing moves in fame (usa 1980) its an ambivalent “childish fan” and “reflected critisizer” regard
